ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

The Committees and Taskforces include the Troop Support Taskforce and a Grant Evaluation Committee.  Additional committees, taskforces, or forums may be formed to help the Foundation accomplish its objectives.

Committee Structure

Committee:     Troop Support Taskforce

Composition
The committee consists of 9-12 Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® members serving at the pleasure of the REALTOR® Foundation: Rhode Island Trustees.  The committee Chair will be selected by the Foundation President subject to approval of the Foundation Board of Trustees.  Committee terms will be for one (1) year.

Strategic Priority
To assist active military within Rhode Island by providing housing-related assistance grants and to assist recently discharged veterans who served in Operation Iraq Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Stateside Deployment with housing-related assistance grants.

Committee Description
Reviews requests and evaluates Troop Support-related grant applications; plans and holds annual Troop Support Golf Tournament Fundraiser.

 

Committee:     Grant Evaluation

Composition
The committee would consist of 5-7 Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® members serving at the pleasure of the REALTOR® Foundation: RI Board of Trustees.  The committee Chair will be selected by the Foundation President subject to approval of the Foundation Board of Trustees.  Committee terms will be for one (1) year.

Strategic Priority
To review grant applications and make quarterly disbursement recommendations within the approved annual budget to the Foundation’s Trustees for programs and services within the Foundation’s identified jurisdiction that are conducive to the mission of the REALTOR® Foundation: Rhode Island.

Committee Description
Reviews and evaluates grant applications that are received quarterly; makes recommendations to the REALTOR® Foundation: Rhode Island Trustees for disbursements.
