Grant Recipients - Testimonials
“Thank you so much for your very generous donation. We will be rehabilitating two Newport homes and a home in Portsmouth during the month of April and this will definitely help with the projects for the homes. Your support of our program to make each home safer and warmer for low income homeowners is greatly appreciated.”

“Many thanks to you and the trustees of the REALTOR Foundation. The size of the donation was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. This past February we moved into a new and significantly larger space. It was a bit of a financial stretch for us so this donation comes at a particularly good time. Rest assured your money will be spent wisely.”

“Thank you all so much again for your grant of $750.00 which you gave us earlier this year to support our emergency assistance program. I am writing to report that these funds have allowed us to help three households with emergency housing assistance, enabling these families to stay in stable living situations and avoid eviction. Thank you so much again for the grant. Your support has made the difference in the lives of many.”

“Please accept my sincere gratitude for the $2000 grant for Project Sweet Peas. The grant has allowed us to launch our new “Welcome Kit” in September that will be distributed to families who are admitted to the Neonatel Intensive Care Unit at Women & Infants Hospital. We couldn’t do it without your support!”

“The generosity of The Realtor Foundation and Newport Fed Charitable Foundation will benefit our students as they strive to reach their goals of having a meaningful adult life in our community, as well as help RISSA to continue to grow so that we may assist many disabled young adults. Rhode Island is fortunate to have such generous donors that improve the quality of life for members of our community.”

“On behalf of We Heart Lives I wanted to thank REALTOR Foundation: Rhode Island for its recent grant of $3,000.00 awarded to us June 1st and share with you how we used it Saturday, June 27th.
We purchased enough food for 500 grocery bags that could feed an average of 4 people per household. For the first time, we were able to provide fresh fruit and a protein! Essentially, you made a way for us to feed 2,000 people in the city of Providence in less than 2 hours before we ran out.
We can't thank you and your team enough for not only caring for your community but choosing to do something about it.”
