REALTOR® Foundation: RI Awards 2nd Quarter Grants

REALTOR® Foundation: RI has announced the winners of the Foundation's second quarter grants. Two worthy non-profit organizations, Neighbors Helping Neighbors RI (NHNRI) and Project Undercover, each received $2500 in funding.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors RI
The purpose of NHNRI is provide no cost home repairs to qualifying low-income homeowners in South County, Rhode Island and to help those in danger of losing their homes. The organization currently has requests for 14 projects in eight South County towns.  A matching donor will pledge an additional $2500 to NHNRI to match the REALTOR® Foundation: RI grant.

Project Undercover
For 26 years, Project Undercover has supplied diapers, underwear, wipes, socks and other items to Rhode Island families at or below the poverty level with children under the age of 18. Last year alone, more than 400,000 diapers were delivered via 30+ agencies throughout the state.

Project Undercover plans to use the grant to help purchase a computer inventory system to help streamline delivery, storage and disbursement of the organization's growing inventory of goods.

REALTOR® Foundation: RI provides grants of up to $5000 each quarter to non-profit entities who share its mission and to individuals affected by personal or natural disaster. The deadline for the next application cycle is August 15 at 5 pm.
